Summer is here

So guys it has been awhile, sorry last week was my last week of classes and now I am just finishing up finals. I got two left religion and CAD finals. I cannot wait, it won't come soon enough. So guys there is this great song I just found like on Saturday, it is called Runaround Sue by Dion and the Belmonts, he is the one that sings The Wanderer too. You definitely need to check it out it has got an awesome beat. So you guys should be coming up on finals or this is your last week right? Good luck I hope that it all goes well. Hopefully you don't get too stressed out like I do.
So I think that we should plan to go camping sometime this summer, or ya know Mac we should plan a weekend to go to the Cabin and fix it up a bit, that would be so much fun. But I guess it would need to happen before the end of July and after the end of June, hmm there is just too much to do this summer and not nearly enough time. I often find myself wishing that I had some sort of machine that gave me more hours in the day or extra days. I would add extra days to the weekends, and I would always be adding more days to my camping trips.
Well guys I have to get studying for another test, hope you guys do well with yours, oh and keep me up to date on how your softball team is doing, if you ever play on the weekends, I would come and watch. Well until next time ta um ea boa

Harvest and Sell

"Ho hoo, Mangos. Booya!"

Who on earth would say something like that you ask? No, it's not a hungry Brazilian, but my roomie William Wilford Thorup IV. Or Will Will 4 as I affectionately call him. Anyway, Will Will was on his computer one day while I was in the kitchen doing my homework when all of a sudden the strangest tune kept playing from his speakers. It sounded like a xylophone got hitched to a string orchestra and they were trying to make sweet harmonies together. Well, as you can see from the immaculate mental picture I just created for you, it was highly annoying. But, instead of turning to violence and hucking my cell phone at Billy Will's computer, and tried to tune it out. But it didn't work! After a few minutes I found myself tapping my foot to the notes and actually humming along with it. After the realization and the gag reflex passed, I started to sing the words out loud so that Willers could enjoy them too. The name of the song is called Harvest and Sell, and incidentally, those are the only words to it as well. So Wild Will and I started to freestyle rap to this crappy tune and had ourselves a darn tootin good time.

So, if you're ever bored out of your mind and are looking at Facebook, be sure to add the application "Farm Town" you'll not be dissapointed.

Harvest and Sell everyone!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to punch Punxsutawney Phil

Ok, what's the dealio? It's been Spring for almost one full month now, and we've been punked by the weather almost every day of it.

I think someone needs to fire old Phil cause that furry dude don't know what's going on anymore. I have a suggestion, why don't we use KSL's Live 5 Weather Watch HD as our new forecaster of spring? I'm pretty sure that satellites and and computers would be a little more accurate than a crusty old mammal that lives in a tree stump for months at a time.

Anyway, Spring is most def not here, and that is not cool. But I have faith that the sun will shine through in time for our Softball games.

PS, softball is one of the scariest games I've ever played. I don't know what it is, but there is something about a huge hard ball flying at my face at freeway speeds that's a little disconcerting. Maybe it's the fact that Jaime is the source behind those speeding projectiles and it's slightly intimidating, but never fear! For I shall do my best to be an animal on that first base. Booya!!

Also, is everyone aware that school is almost over? I hope so because I am so done with Cache Valley, I've been up here long enough. It was good while it lasted and I'm going to miss the small time school atmosphere that is not found at the U, but I'm ready to move in with my new hot roomie, (that's a reference to Jaime if you didn't get it).

Life is great, I now have 5 degrees of movement in my foot, which is half of what it needs to be for normal walking conditions, but I'm working hard at Physical Therapy and things are looking bright for me.

Well, as Tigger says, TTFN or in laman's terms, Ta Ta For Now

Easter!!

Well its almost easter. That means spring is here, even if it doesn't look like it outside, and school is almost out. Only 3 more weeks left in the semester. I cant wait to be done. THis week has been pretty uneventful. Im looking forward to the eggolympics at Jill's and some good times with the boys. I am getting knee surgery on the 21st. hopefully that will fix all the problems in my knee. Then i can go back to pushing it to the limit. Hopefully i will get some great internships for the summer. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Im signing up for our coed softball league today. Dumb Chase isn't joining us for the fun, but i still love him anyway. Hopefully Mac's foot will heal enough for him to stand at 1st base. I am applying for graduation next tuesday!!! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, i just need to make it there now.  Thats pretty much all that is going on right now. See you all this weekend!!!

Ramble, of the spring kind

Well, I don't have any topic to write about, it has just been like a week and a half since I last wrote something. So I am just thinking how great it is that the semester is just about over. Not intentionally gloating but at BYU we have until next Tuesday of classes and then it is just finals. And I absolutely love the fact that most of my classes are science and math classes which means no projects to worry about. So it feels like it is the first time this semester that I don't have something pressing to take care of. So things are definitely going good.
Guys I don't know about you all but I thought conference was just great. I loved, loved Elder Christofferson's talk, and I thought that President Uctdorf's and Eyring's priesthood session talks were very relavant to me. I love when conference comes around, but it leaves so quickly, I think that I am going to try this six months to watch a talk weekly or more. It is just great to hear them speak.
Easter is this weekend, I was thinking that we should plan some sort of young adult egg hunt with 1-5 designated eggs that each person needs to find. Just a thought tell me what you guys think.
I say this everyday, I am so excited for summer. Summers are always great, and I am so excited to spend time in the mountains. It wouldn't take much to convince me to live in the mountains for a month or two. Anyway I think that I have rambled enough, so I'll catch you on the flip side, later.

Coincidence

The other day, as I was sitting on the couch and watching a movie, my roommate showed me an article on the internet that said :

"
Tiny and dying but still-powerful stars called pulsars spin like crazy and light up their surroundings, often with ghostly glows. So it is with PSR B1509-58, which long ago collapsed into a sphere just 12 miles in diameter after running out of fuel"

Click on the link to see what the pulsar looked like:

.

It's an image of a hand reaching for a nebula!

It's really cool to see things like this in nature. It may just be a coincidence, and then again, it may not. But bear in mind, that this pulsar happened more than 17,000 years ago. It was over 150 light years away and is just now reaching us. That's pretty crazy. "And worlds without number have I created...." Just think about that!

Anyway, just thought you'd all like to see that.

This is what Logan looks like right now

Man, those were the good old days.

This was Hanks first time on the snowboard, remember that? It was so much fun, I don't think I've ever boarded in that much fresh powder!!

Holy guacamole guys, it's been five years since we graduated, and almost seven since the first time we went to Hawaii. That is a long time ago. It's weird to think that Hank has been home from his mission for two years, and Jeff has been home since 1776, where he had to leave after signing the Declaration of Independence.

But for reals, life is a great big comic strip isn't it?

Oh yeah, did I tell y'all about my foot, and what I found? I don't think so. Ok, so here's the dealio.

I went the orthopedic doctor on Tuesday and he informed me that I had torn in half, two of the four major tendons in my foot. I now have to go to physical therapy for awhile, and wear my brace for six months. Plus also, he gave me a Handicapped parking pass! That's ligit man, super litigt. It has already come in handy so many times, like when I go to Wal Mart, or Alby's, wherever I go, it's all front row all the time.

So that's what's up

Wednesday, April 1, 2009

So I am not sure about you guys but I am so done with snow (Mac, feel bad for you all you probably see is snow) anyway I can't ever recall being so ready for spring to come. I have a feeling that for the next week or two it will be jumping back and forth between warm and cold. Anyway I am so excited for conference, I can't wait to hear what the prophets have to say. I can tell it is going to be good, they always are anyway. But I am particularly excited because I have a Living Prophets class and we have just been talking about all the living Apostles and Prophets now and their conference talks last October. So it has definitely help make me excited for them to come and speak.
Anyway I think that we should routinely plan to go to the temple together like once every couple months, I really enjoyed that, and I'll get the time right next time.
Well I got homework that is callin' my name so I will catch ya later!
Love ya guys
